There’s been a change of plans.
In June of 2020, the pandemic forced a halt to all inter-provincial travel across the country…and for a province whose economy relies on millions of visitors each summer, that was a pretty big problem!
Tourism operators were looking to Tourism PEI for support, and that’s when Tourism PEI turned to Insight Studio for ideas and action. The challenge: Market PEI to Islanders!
In less than two weeks, our team had pulled together the initial campaign concept, strategy, visual identity, style system, and marketing material needed to launch the Activate our Island campaign.
Over the next two years, we developed seasonal sub-campaigns, contesting, OOH, digital, TV and radio, and social media content to encourage, entice, and educate Islanders on all the amazing offerings waiting to be found right in our own backyard.
